Beginning of September 2005 I had to attend a conference in Orlando and during the weekend (10 and 11/09) I visited the Magic Kingdom in Disney World as well as the John F. Kennedy Space Center near Cape Canaveral.

Noël was a couple of days in the area of Los Angeles. There wasn't much free time, but he managed a small hike in the Malibu Canyon and a couple of hours in Hollywood.

In February 2007 we went for a holiday to the United States. First we went to Chicago to visit some bakeries. The temperature was about - 20°C. Afterwards we went for one week to Las Vegas. From there we did trips to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park.

Monday the 19th of February we flew to Las Vegas. Instead of having - 20°C we had + 20°C. What a nice difference.

Zion National Park is about 2,5 hours driving from Las Vegas. Quite a trip but it is worth it.

The Blue Moon is a nice resort two miles away from the Strip. There is a lovely swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a steam room.
The bedrooms are spacious and very nicely decorated.
